the best things in life are free

ive just come back from a little trip to see my dads old holiday spot as a child at Anderby creek and even know it was freezing cold weather there was still holiday makers on the beach making the most of it all ! the best things in life are free if u have those people there to make it fun there was an amazing tribute act and some funny moments. I start work this Tuesday and so glad to begin on the steps of my future career:)

oh there is a lord

went for a job today as a nursery nurse thought about the fact that i needed to start somewhere they made me stay there all morning whilst i got to work with all the staff and found it to be a breathe of fresh air not only were the staff really inviting but they were saying how you  can move up the career ladder in the job, i am therefore hoping to stay there untill i get a job back in Leicester or maybe will be working abroad again  i have also had a quick glance at flats and some of them are not too bad im still thinking maybe this would be a  better investment than commuting depending on job.

But unfortunately the degree had come to an end the three years of new friendships and my incredible love of independence was lost to the hope that one day I would return but with taking a dip into the PGCE at Manchester Metropolitan University I knew that I had failed at this task my goal was plummeted back down to the ground all because of my unworthy 2,2 I believed that the only thing good from this now was the hard search for a job as perhaps a nursery nurse to build me way back up. If only a light could eventually shine down and bring some sort of hope not even a single interview for a teacher assistant job has come my way, I have an interview on Friday morning for a nursery my first interview for a job since coming back from Turkey, the job in Turkey only lasted five weeks and even know it gave me so much independence and was exciting to officially work abroad, I now feel sad to lose some sort of a job, I have worked there for six years but even know they are a shit company to work for I will miss the benefits of the lovely Hilton Hotel and i feel i currently living in a bubble with no where to go no goal to achieve

ok so i havent blogged in a very long time this is mainly due to my three weeks of being back from Turkey and wondering why i didnt stay .. but as i pondered this i realised things may of been for the best just lately the temperatures for turkey have risen to 39 c so not the best but Kirsty ( head nanny)  has said she is starting to miss me out there so it does show i was kind of useful , I do wonder whether il be back working abroad again in the future.
Its been a very interesting week even know i didnt get on the PGCE i was able to go for an interview and  get to crewe without crashing which nearly could of happened several times in Stoke me and roundabouts will never be the best of friends. I have some job opportunities lined up this week and i believe that if my future plans will become real i need to get the money together  and my mum has just told me about an amazing opportunity in the hospital bring on the pay and the hope of a gym membership:P

back to the grind

so i am back in sunny Leicester as enjoyable as it was to be there fo five weeks i will not miss the following things
a the annoying long stair case to get to work every day leaving no time to do anything in the breaks and b the disgusting crapeteria food that was offered each day but apart from that it was a great experience to say i officialy have worked abroad for five weeks in beautiful Turkey and would love to go back to the country again one day. As for now i have the wonderful dreaded search for ta jobs in the UK fingers crossed something comes my way or the chance to work again abroad somewhere new x

mini disco time

i am currently sat in agora listening to various international mini disco songs and my fave has to be the spanish ones this week has been very eventful and ive loved it starting with Saturday it was my first transfer day and i really was quite nervous but excited i felt very confident on the mic on the bus and was able to stand up but had to be proped up by Kirsty. Last night was my first night out in Bodrum and we all got very drunk i was dancing on the bar and drinking various free shots and it was great fun bring on more trips to Bodrum

turkey end of another week (week 2)

so another week has flown around yet again and i am finally adjusting to the style of work i have thoroughly enjoyed this week even more with the chance to work with the older age. I also had an afternoon off where i was able to go to the spa and have the chance to have  a turkish massage with a turkish man. He was so much better than the previous back massage i had encountered and worked wonders on my arm which has a lot of tension it wasn't that bad either at about 42 lira so 21 in the uk roughly.  So if i decide to stay longer i will definately have to choose to have a massage more often. As for work head office has emailed to ask whether i would stay till November i believe that id prefer to just September so we shall see what they say as id like work with a better pay as i believe it can be fun here but long hours.
