we're running with the shadows of the night

i've had the most amazing month first of all it was Katies birthday we had a fantastic night out in town, we went to see the new night club and i really enjoyed it. Secondly a trip to London for my dads birthday was the best day trip ever! we went to see Rock of ages and there is no fault at all it's so much better than the film. It even was better than We Will Rock You which had to be my fave.
Now im back at the pre school doing christmas songs and everything is going well, i passed my assesment and i am loving it with the staff. I have plans for the future to go on to study with the School Direct Programme and a trip to see a friend in Australia. :)
( So Baby Take my hand it'' be alright) i just cant get this song out of my head

five months and i survived

They say i cant last five months abroad, (They being my parents). I loved working with the kids in July school holidays, but as soon as they left. it all fell pear shaped the team was messing up and i couldnt and will not live with the following people again:
medlomanics.
obsessive compulsives
those that smoke in the bedroom
or those that think its smart to move my stuff, i really wanted to go home, but i knew that so much had happened  whilst i had been away. I had missed my aunts funeral i had missed what felt like such a blow i loved her dearly. I had to book to go home and the events that followed booking i never thought would happen,  why would anyone want to text someone to say  i hope your plane  gets delayed.
but there are some good things,  i had survived five months in an interesting country i had also met some very talented people along the way, Dan was working as an entertainment host and was hillarious on stage and Cara a fantastic singer and dancer. i would hopefully like to see these people again.
But i am back to the cooler weather and i don;t feel half as bad, maybe the formality of finding another uni course has helped myself to settle back into moving back home.. i do believe that it is true home is definately where the heart is and here i will stay.

THERE IS NO PLACE LIKE HOME XX

Graduation and saying goodbye to January

Ok so Graduation this seems to be the highlight of the month, most of January has been quite stressful worrying about the job at the nursery and realising i need to think about my future. I have also looked over my facebook and i have spoke about going down to the football a lot. So a new thought for February is to keep on top of the future career by going to help in a primary school every Monday and then hopefully Lincoln will feel i have as much knowledge and experience that  is desirable. i am looking forward to a fresh month with new ideas.
